DECISIONS
Random decisions. Complex decisions in which my life is at stake.
Changes that are lost, doors that open and windows that close.
And in one moment … Just me and the horizon.
And in one moment … Everything becomes possible.
If I choose.
When everything is important, nothing really is.
A phrase from my friend José María, since the day he told me it hasn’t stopped resonating with me.
Choose … What to choose? What to choose for?
How do I decide? What is my parameter?
Justice? Equity? Freedom?
No. The guts are the parameter. Listen to them, and give place to that minute of courage that moves me to be alive. And it moves us all. To be human, so human.
All the decisions we make are emotional in essence.
The guts tell you the truth, then the mind justifies.
Justify, judicious, configuring the reality that serves my purpose.
And the truth remains one, the one I choose, my path.
I close the doors to other realities, to walk and advance in this one.
With conviction. With the echo of my emotion whispering inside me.
“You are on the right track.”
